IT. Business Analyst - BI System project (S8)
Contract starting ASAP, to end November 2012
CBD-based Government client
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include the following:
- Analyse data, recommend changes and redesign business process relating to corporate and divisional performance indicators, both current and proposed to populate the Business Intelligence System
- Provide support to the Manager, and the Senior Project Manager (BI Project). The role further liaises with divisional managers and staff, and the ERP team
- Work with the Planning & Performance team and business stakeholders to define the reports required from the system
- Trace back the data requirements to the source system with business rules used to manipulate the data clearly documented.
- The BA will also work with stakeholders to define Test Cases to be used in the UAT process and to maintain the requirements Traceability Matrix.
To be considered for an interview, applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Detailed experience as a Business Analyst, specifically on Business Intelligence Projects
- Experience working with business stakeholders to define the reports required from systems
- Experience working with stakeholders to define Test Cases to be used in the UAT process and to maintain the requirements Traceability Matrix
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
