Description
We have an urgent need for an experience FPGA Electronics Engineer. This is an opportunity to be involved in the architecture and design of the signal processing FPGA for a new generation of non-destructive test equipment.
Our client is a small but mature company based in Hampshire developing unique equipment for the Rail Sector. They have some tight deadlines approaching on some new products and require assistance from an experienced engineer to help on new design work.
Essential Knowledge
- Thorough understanding of electronic design and development
processes
- Design for production and test
- European standards as applied to electronic systems
- Design for EMC, RoHS, temperature, vibration and safety
Essential Skills
- Fluent in VHDL
- Altera ISE toolset
- Understand and use DSP algorithms
- Fluent in OrCad
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- EDA tools, PSPICE, MatLab, MathCAD
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, both
written and oral
