Description
Our Phoenix, AZ Client is looking for a Sr. Voice/Data Engineer with 5-8 years of experience. They are short staffed and need someone until the end of the year. Resource needs to be a self-starter, who can proactively learn about Client's network on their own. 12 Month Contract Position.
Comfortable in routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, Multicasting, etc)
Assist team with the designing, troubleshooting, and monitoring of MAN and WAN network environments. Network consists of Cisco, Juniper and other vendor Routers and Switches environment.
Assist team with designing and managing the Global OSPF, BGP, dynamic route maps routing environments as well as Testing and tuning the failover of the global MPLS and VPN networks.
Assist team with designing and managing the global Data Center infrastructure.
Contribute to the collective knowledge of the team on matters regarding: Optical, DWDM, MPLS, Advanced Route Map and Routing of OSPF, BGP open standards, DC2015/GWAN communication refinement in order to facilitate the smooth migration of Client networks to the new data center.
Assist team with Architecture/Design of WAN and Data Center network for OSPF/BGP/Advanced Route Maps for Switches, Routers, and Physical environment.
Assist team with designing the next generation Data Center network
Troubleshoot and monitor all aspects of the Data Center Routing/Switching and Optical network
Experience integrating systems

Required Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
