Matrix is partnering with a local company who is in the process of building a new IT environment and migrating existing services with a new Service Provider. This transition phase will take approximately six months to complete.        

Required:

Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
8-10 years project management principles and methodologies obtained by assisting/coordinating mid-scale projects 
8-10 years Program/Project delivery experience (50,,000 Hours) 
Managed multiple projects and cross-functional teams of 10+ resources spread across multiple geographical locations through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring specific projects to completion both on time and within budget

Preferred
4-6 years Experienced with eCommerce Web Application
Hands on experience with eCommerce Web Application migration/relocation

Required:
Ability to apply project management best practices and methodology
Ability managing Programs or Projects from 50,000 to 250,000 Hours
Ability to motivate project teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project, MS Access, Adobe Acrobat and NT.
Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules
Effective written and oral communications skills
Proven decision-making abilities
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.

Note: the IT Sr. PM is a support role to the Work Stream Owner.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Review the statements of work for all work streams. Identifies cross-project dependencies.
Adheres and support stated governance model.
Facilities team meeting (includes producing agendas and recaps) 
Provides concise fact based status update as required 
Determines and assesses need for additional staff to meet deliverables
Produces and maintains project logs: Risks, Action, Issues, Decisions
Identifies risks, restrictions and constraints of the project and assesses the potential effect on the project. Develops a project strategy to mitigate risks.
Expands project schedules as appropriate and ensures that resources are available throughout the project.
Monitors progress to established milestones
Monitors and revises budgets and provides project budgets updates
Archives documents throughout the project life cycle
Conducts midstream project lesson learned and implement improvements
