Description
Our client, a very large global financial organisation, has an immediate requirement for an Application Support Analyst to join their CBD based team. The position is for an initial 3 month period but will role on in 3 monthly increments.
The role responsibilities include;
- Provide operational Windows Application Support, Desktop Support, Website Support
- Diagnose and resolve problems
- Support releases and manage migrations between environments
- Set up batch schedules
- Ensuring version control on all operational and test releases and managing the software
- Install and configure software
- Establish, configure and maintain environments
- 3+ years using the relevant tool set and experience in programming and application design
- Experience with MS SQL 2005 and 2008 server administration (Backups/Restore, Health checks, logshipping)
- Proficient experience in virtualisation and environment support
- Experience with scheduling tools
