Our large government client is currently seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Senior Java Developer beginning ASAP on contract until 30 June 2012

Minimum Requirements:
- Implementation of Java and ICSE Competency Centre standards (including design, development and unit testing standards)'
- Maintaining and developing key DIAC systems and applications;
- Providing technical leadership to Java developers;
- Developing appropriate solutions, documentation and Unit tests;
- Providing Code Review and other Quality Assurance tasks for projects and for code delievered by the Sections;
- Some development in C/C++ and or C# may be required in some positions
Desirable:
- WebSphere Portal Server
- WebSphere Integration Developer
- WebSphere Pricess Server 6.2
- Database design and development
- WebSphere Message Broker and MQ
- WebSphere Business Modeller
- WebSphere Application Server
- Expereience working in a SOA environment
- Experience with Unix System Administration
- C/C++ AND OR C#
- Windows system administration
- SQL preferably with Oracle
