Primary Purpose of the Position:

You will provide ERP software expertise to manage the design of representing the business process requirements in the ERP system architecture; facilitate knowledge transfer to other program team leads and members and provide best business practice knowledge to aid the design. Manage the implementation of the ERP strategy,establishing work programs, planning and setting priorities, monitoring progress of the programs,and taking remedial action as necessary. Design a standard ERP solution architecture design, including the integration of OEM and third party ERP modules. You will develop and document an ERP technical mapping solution to document the Department's. The position is accountable for day-to-day decisions relating to allocated tasks and projects within the scope of the Unit's overall strategies and objectives.

Specific Qualifications:

Managing large number of diverse projects at various stages, while maintaining ongoing services within tight timeframes, quality standards and budget constraints, Maintaining an awareness of other application systems and infrastructure management systems, and impact these systems have on ERP applications. Keeping abreast of trends, new products and technology, government and industry policy and standards, and regulatory changes and how best to implement these to meet business needs while minimising costs, Working knowledge of, or current experience, in SAP, ARIS business modelling, SAP landscape tools eg. Solman and Business Objects, Preferable previous experience with Oracle and Fusion, Experience with systems interoperability, Previous experience with collaboration platforms, such as MS SharePoint, TRIM and Objective, Demonstrated skills and experience in large reform programs, at the systems and infrastructure level, Excellent project management skills including the ability to co-ordinate, assess, resolve technical issues and complete projects within time and quality constraints; proven knowledge and application of Prince2,or equivalent, program management methodology would be preferred, Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, High-level organisational skills, the capacity to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines. You will have qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Communications or a related discipline or relevant industry experience.
