Field Test Engineers/IOT (Mobile Telecoms/Engineering) Dublin
Based: Dublin/Ireland
Although initially we are looking candidates to work on short term contract, these contracts often extend and full time roles may also become available.
Key Skills:
- Experience using Radio Frequency (RF) drive test equipment testing handsets and end to end voice quality data services
- Inter Operability Testing (IOT) skills and experience
- Clean Driving License essential
We are seeking highly capable mobile telecoms field/drive test and IOT engineers who are able to demonstrate sound technical expertise to work on some exceptionally well know branded client project work in Ireland.
As an IOT/field test engineer you must have experience of using Radio Frequency (RF) drive test equipment, testing handsets and end to end voice quality data services/QoS solutions like Ascom QVoice, Swiss Qual etc. Ideally we require Inter Operability Testing (IOT) skills and experience. We also require strong theoretical & practical experience of techniques & approaches and a flexible approach to work.
You must be a motivated and organised self starter with a strong ability to work as part of a fast paced team as well as being able to self manage yourself to work effectively, productively and independently in the field.
About the role:
Results orientated, with excellent problem solving & decision making skills you will apply your technical knowledge to capture the performance of phones and networks at a range of stationary and mobile key public locations and environments.
Solutions involve capturing voice quality, call performance, running data service applications on handsets. Other responsibilities include: verifying correct equipment/software operation, audio levels, Bluetooth connectivity, correct configuration of data subscriptions on phones and data logging.
