Description
This growing international industry leader has an immediate 5-week contract opening in Addison, TX for a VBA/Access Developer. Will be expected to take the business requirements document and complete the project. Will participate in meetings to update the application owner/users of progress. Will be solely responsible for the development. Will generating reports and creating point and click screens with automation hidden from user. Will provide Back End data validation of data and work with event triggers. The goal of the project is create and deploy a small MS Access database for a small number of users. The database is to have Front End screens for users to input and manage data. Data input may be either from spreadsheets or manually typed. Output is screen or exported to Excel. Reports need to be developed based on data criteria and the initial database structure and screen layouts have been drafted. Data that is input via spreadsheets may be duplicate from previously input data. The database application should validate the data and only include new or changed data to the database when loading.
This position requires experience with Access 2007 and VBA for Access 2007. Will automate the import and export of Excel data to generate reports.
