Our DFW area client is seeking a strong QA individual. This person must have strong people skills and be able to interact with internal and external client teams.
The candidates experience should be as defined below ideally:
Expert -sufficient knowledge and experience that this person could successfully train someone else on the subject.
Working Knowledge- Hands on experience and can successfully utilize the subject in his/her work.
Familiar -May have little or no hands on experience but knows about the subject through research, training or adjacent work environments.
Proficient -Having an advanced level of competence with the subject and can utilize it without extensive training (see as the above terms are applied below).
Experience should include:
-6+ years experience actively participating on Quality Assurance teams.
-Bachelors in CS, SE or equivalent experience.
-Experience with complete SDLC Proficient.
-Understanding of Direct Marketing a plus Nice to Have.
Experience testing and understanding:
-DWH Proficient.
-ETL Proficient.
-OLTP Proficient.
-Report generation (visuals, data input and output) Proficient.
-Data Management Proficient.
-Business Intelligence Nice to Have.
-Data Migration Proficient.
-Customer Data Integration (CDI) Working Knowledge.
Technical:
-Agile, Waterfall methodologies Working Knowledge.
-Experience with SharePoint, TFS, JIRA, HP QC, IssueNet Working Knowledge.
-Unix, Windows (XP, 7), Oracle, SQL, Proficient.
-Cognos, Business Objects Working Knowledge.
-Product Development (coding experience/expertise) Nice to Have.
-Putty Proficient.
-SoapUI or equivalent Proficient.
-Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) Proficient.
-MS Visio Working Knowledge.
-Notepad (Text Editor) Proficient.
-Web Browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) Proficient.
-Netezza Nice to Have.
-XML Editors Working Knowledge.
Duties:
-Analyze requirements and create and review test cases/steps.
-Lead test Matrix peer review.
-Enter and analyze defects; test resolved defects and update status.
-Test the assigned components following the project plan schedule.
-Test data mining and creation.
-Adapt to changing project details
(schedule, scope, etc.)
-Active participant in team meetings testing specific or project related.
-Coordinate/communicate with dev and business teams
-Interface with onshore/offshore teams.
-High sensitivity to security and accessing personal information data.
Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication
