Matrix is currently partnering with a local company in need of a Sr. Manager of Infrastructure. We are looking for candidates with 10 years of IT operations experience and at least 5 years of IT operations line management experience.
Job Description:
Insure uptime and response time service level commitments are met/exceeded by developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, telecommunications system and virtualization. Manage technical team consisting of network engineers and systems administrators and manage budget.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain and continuously improve upon a strong track record of meeting customer service level agreements for uptime and response time for Servers, network, data communications and virtualized Servers. Lead a diversely-skilled technical team of sr. system administrators, sr. network and security engineers. Implement and manage virtualization as designed and agreed by Senior Management. Manage a cost center to budget. Work with senior management to grow the capability to support revenue increases of 50-100% per year. Support sales opportunities with presentations, requirements gathering, high-level design, and costing of solutions. Respond to customer requests for security and operational audits. Implement ITIL practices.
