10+ year old software company with headquarters in Morrisville has a need for a Lead Quality Analyst. This is a very hands-on Lead role and heavy with datamining.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist in the design and execution of test plans, scenarios, manual and automated test scripts and procedures for 4 week sprints using agile methodology.
Aid in the planning and prioritizing of test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals and procedures.
Participate in cross-functional teams at various levels of the development cycle as the quality systems representative.
Participate in the development and maintenance of product risk analysis and management for multiple projects.
Performing root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to preclude recurrence to respond to customer complaints.
Develop and improve products and processes, reduce variability and increase robustness throughout the development cycle for multiple projects.
Prepare regular performance and metrics reports for quality management systems, operations, and project development.
Mentor and manage junior quality assurance analysts to help them increase their understanding of quality assurance techniques.REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of QA Experience.
Experience developing and executing automated and manual test scripts.
Experience mentoring or leading a QA team.
Datamining
Understanding and knowledge of modern test methods, commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the quality assurance field.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
Experience with TFS.
Looking at contract-to-hire. 50+% software testing, but want a lot of emphasis to be on quality across the organization. You will be helping the manager implement that (think six sigma, etc.). Company is not focused on stress or load testing yet, but it's coming down the pipe. Use Microsoft TFS for managing agile processes, as well as Microsoft Test Manager. Company has an internal automation tool used for automated testing.
