Description
This Westlake, TX industry leader has an immediate 6-month opening for a Senior UNIX Systems Engineer. Will be responsible for UNIX server environments including production incident management, capacity planning, project management, disaster recovery/failover planning, coordinating application benchmarking & infrastructure planning with Architect & Development teams, define monitoring requirements, and metrics/measures.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with UNIX-based enterprise applications.
- Project management or lead experience in a technology infrastructure environment.
- Experience with application Servers (WAS & TomCat).
- Experience with ETL technologies (Informatica) & Virtualization technologies.
- Experience with data replication and DR technologies.
- Prefer Oracle Exadata Appliance knowledge.
- Prefer a Bachelors degree.
