Description
Global industry leader known as a Top Employer in the Atlanta area needs a systems/web-application performance engineer to maintain application Performance Management tools in support of large multi-tier web infrastructure. This administrator will also develop and configure scripts for automated monitoring execution, build robust Operational and Business Value Dashboards, and work closely with Application Development and Test Engineers to enhance monitoring for upcoming projects and site flow changes.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Gomez or Keynote experience (web monitoring tools).
- HP BAC or Selenium would be nice to have.
- Experience with automation testing and monitoring tools such as LoadRunner.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years experience with software testing of web-based applications using a structured testing methodology
- 3+ years experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium
- 2+ years experience developing with programming languages (ie, Java, .NET framework, C#, C++, Perl, VBScript)
- HP LoadRunner
- Shell Scripting, Ant, or Ruby for automation Scripting
- Experience testing a large portfolio of high-traffic websites and multi-tier Internet systems
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and highly frequent release cycles
- Experience developing scripts for Keynote is a Plus
- Object-oriented background
- Strong knowledge of HTML, XML and CSS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
