Description
A world-class technology and innovations leader in Billerica, Massachusettes seeks a Software Performance Test Engineer for a 10-month contract. Day to day tasks include design, develop, execute and implement customized performance tests for software applications, present developed test plans to stakeholders for buy-in and approval, analyze data to make recommendations for performance improvements, perform load test applications outside of normal Business Hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required skills:
BS/BA with broad Information Technology background, 3+ years using LoadRunner, experience testing any of the following application/server platforms: Apache, WebLogic, Netscape, NetWeaver, MS IIS, SAP, and PeopleSoft, working knowledge of large LAN/WAN networks - both software and hardware (eg Firewalls, Routers, subnets, TCP/IP sockets, etc.), prior development (not test Scripting) experience in C/C++, Java JavaScript, C#, Windows or Unix.
