A superb opportunity has arisen at one of the world's most respected companies for 4 Agile Developers in Test/SDET/Technical Testers/Agile Test Engineers to play a key role in a groundbreaking project. This well funded, high profile project aims to attract the best Agile testers on the market and in order to secure their services my client is offering £550 - £625 per day and 12 month contracts.
You will be joining a well rehearsed, professional Agile team working in 2 week sprints and will be expected to be productive from early on, embracing the Agile process (SCRUM) and offering considerable experience in TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavioural Driven Development). As a creative but scientific person with an aptitude for working collaboratively with developers, you will be enthusiastic in participating in defect problems and solutions.
As well as being self reliant and interested in exploratory testing, you will also have knowledge and interest in open source test tools and have good Java coding ability.
Your background should demonstrate development experience combined with significant end to end test automation and build automation experience - you will be developing your own automated test frameworks and your role will be to automate what is currently a manual set up, building an automated regression package. Aptitude in Functional, Performance, Systems, UAT and Regression testing is essential.
The Architecture includes Cucumber, Selenium Grid, Selenium Remote Control, Hudson, DynaTrace AJAX, DB2, Java, some C#, Apache, Maven, WebSphere.
