Senior IT Tester, min. 5 years of Testing experience, Luxembourg
An exciting new opportunity is available in Luxembourg for a Senior IT Tester/Test Analyst.
This position is offered as an employment contract with a limited duration (CDD) of 9-21 months. Freelancers cannot be considered.
Profile required:
To be considered for this role, candidates should be able to prove the following skills & experience:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors/BAC +3 in IT (or equivalent professional experience of 3+ years);
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of Testing experience;
- Experience in application implementation and in complex application configuration (SIEBEL, REUTERS, SAP );
Required Technological Expertise:
- 1+ years' experience in Unix/Windows OS and programming (Shell/PowerShell);
- 3+ years' experience in Oracle/Informix RDB (as an experienced user);
Desirable Technological Expertise:
- Knowledge of testing tools such as HP Quality Center or QTP (Quick Test Professional);
- ISTQB Certification;
- B usiness expertise in the field of payment card/credit card processing;
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English. Any other language, in particular French or German is a plus.
Tasks:
Successful applicants will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Simply put: to perform functional tests and ensure that the product bears resemblance to the deliverable specified in the technical specifications;
- Automate the testing process as much as possible and implement modern and efficient testing procedures;
- Create and maintain the documentation of the day-to-day test environment and execute test scenarios with tools appropriate to the aforementioned test environment;
- Offer aid to the support team to allow them to effectively respond to error reports and user requests (knowledge transfer);
- Provide documentation/reports of the tests to business analysts and the project manager to ensure the highest level of quality of the deliverable;
- Maintain a steady stream of information to superiors so that these can maintain an accurate overview of the deliverable's evolution.
