Description
We are looking for a seasoned Checkpoint Firewall security specialist with proven implementation experience and worked at Enterprise level.
Award winning Global IT Professional Services firm requires a Contract Checkpoint Security Engineer for their Sydney office. This contract will run until December 2012 as a minimum with possible extensions from there.
You will be responsible for the;
- The role is to migrate and upgrade Firewalls in the Data Centre. From R60-R7 5
- Design of secure network infrastructures,
- Proof of concepts,
- Installation of security and network systems/software solutions,
- Conducting security audits
- UTM deployment
- Firewalls clustered - MEPP
- Remote Access - VPN
To be successful you will;
- 5+ years experience in a Security Engineer position at enterprise level.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated consulting experience at enterprise level.
- Solid experience in either the implementation or installation of Checkpoint Firewalls.
- Further experience with products including McAfee, Bluecoat, Cisco PIX, IDS/IPS, ASA, VPN Concentrator and Routers/Switches
- Extensive experience and expertise within all areas of network security technologies, vendor products and security governance
- Industry/Vendor certifications such as: CISSP, CCNP, CCSA or CCSE
- You will also have working knowledge of Troubleshooting, Rule changes, Command lines, Migrations and Upgrades
