Our client, leading ICT Solutions Provider based in Brisbane, is currently seeking to engage a Quality Manager for an initial 6 month contract with options to continue to extend.

The Quality Manager key purpose is to establish the assurance function, capability, framework, plans and tools to oversee the successful implementation within the offsite Clients internal Program.

The role will be accountable for the assurance function and management of a small team to deliver the program assurance capability.

Other Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will include;

  • Establish, lead and manage the quality assurance function, capability, framework, plans and appropriate tools
  • Management of the assurance team.
  • Manage internal and external (as directed) audits
  • Advise and support ieMR leaders and staff on quality and assurance matters as they contribute to the successful delivery of complex and high risk projects/program outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice, coaching and input into the development of program deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with Clients policies, strategies and expectations.
  • Ensure projects are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and formal project management (PM) approach and methodologies to enable the achievement of consistent and quality project outcomes.
  • Ensure relevant stakeholders are informed and engaged on assurance and quality matters.

To be successful for this role you will possess the following key experience;

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform the requirements of the role within a large, complex and geographically dispersed ICT environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour and occupational health and safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing the Assurance function, capability, framework, plans and tools and manage internal audits within a complex program environment.
  • Expert knowledge, application and competency certification of Prince2/MSP methodologies and experience in establishing foundation level MSP capability in a large and complex program environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience (preferably ten (10) years or more) in program and project management and assurance and successful delivery of multidisciplinary Information Communications Technology infrastructure projects and/or programs.
  • Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
  • Proven leadership, conceptualisation and design of large scale, complex and high risk projects
