Description
We are seeking a Dynamic and innovative UI Designer to join one of Australia's largest organisations in a 12 month fixed term engagement with room to grow.
You would be responsible for leading and managing all mobile activities within the business unit and assist in shaping the End-to-End customer experience for the mobile services channels.
Work of the role:
Create designs for projects that are on brand thus eliminating inconsistent look and feel.
Through consistent design based upon predefined design style guides ensure the consistency of user experience
Through collaboration with Front End web coders ensure that visual design and wireframes are consistent with project plans thus eliminating project overages in the design phase and contributing to bringing project on time.
Develop a website working prototype, including look and feel, interaction and functional flow
Continually Driving Look & Feel
Must exhibit a keen eye for detail and a good sense of visual design, ability to design elegant graphics is essential
Proficiency in applying interaction design principles
Strong project management mentality; ability to prioritise development tasks, report on progress and stay on schedule.
Essential requirements:
Min 2-3 years MOBILE DESIGN Experience
ADVANCED - Adobe; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
STRONG Design portfolio and SOLID experience in WEB DESIGN
Planning, analytical and project management skills
This position is rare and seldom required for the financial services industry, however due to rapid growth in the mobile sector this area is highly invested in and will continue to be in the next coming years.
