Our multinational oil and gas client is seeking a Contracts Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of drilling contract support which shall include issue of invitation to tender, tender evaluation, contract award, post contract administration and contract close-out. duties will include but not be limited to: Ensuring compliance with Company Contracting Policy & Procedures and EU utilities directive, if applicable;
Identify via FPAL/ACHILLES potential bidders for goods and/or services required, and prepare and execute contractor pre-qualifications;
Prepare and act as a focal point for all Invitations to Tender, including proposed contract terms and conditions based on companies Master Agreements or LOGIC model contracts, including remuneration, scope of work and other contract sections;
Prepare tender evaluations and post receipt of tenders, undertake commercial evaluations for combining with technical evaluations;
Prepare and attend meetings and protect companies commercial interests, write minutes and distribute to attendees/interested parties;
Review of all commercial matters and correspondence submitted by contractors and provide advice and recommendations to Drilling Manager and his team on their response;
Review of all change and variation requests submitted by contractors, process company variation orders or notices of rejection;
Review contractual claims, advise and recommendations to all levels of management on there validity, processing and company response;
Liaise with legal, insurance, finance, health safety and environment, quality management departments as required;
Contract management; provide regular reports and updates to the Drilling Manager and his team, contract holders and senior company management;
Monitor multi-field service agreements to ensure continuous availability of services.
