HDC Storeman Responsibilities
Desktop, Laptop and Network Hardware
Reporting to: HSBC HDC Functional Manager
(CRB CLEARANCE REQ OR WILLING TO CARRY OUT)
The following document details the responsibilities that are under the control of the HDC Storeman;
Booking in all deliveries with HDC Facilities and Security
Ensure all items are barcoded and scanned using HSBC preferred system
Acceptance of all CSS deliveries into HDC
Store all items in the appropriate storage facility ensuring stock rotation and accessibility
Update Inventory systems to show what is in storage
Update all relevant HSBC systems with required information
Determine whether assets should be reused, sent for disposal or requires warranty repair and store accordingly -further information will be supplied by HSBC
Take action for all requests received via dedicated email account
Appropriately package any item that needs despatching from HDC to another location
Ensure that the items are labelled correctly and courier requirements met
Ensure Inventory information is available at all times for use by HSBC
Liaise with HSBC to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained at all times
Ensure that any item destined for disposal is made ready for collection by the third party disposal company
Ensure that all relevant paperwork for disposals is updated and maintained
