SAP Technical Architect/Designer - UNIX/Linux - Windows - 12 MONTHS - Chester
My client, a large blue chip organisation is looking for an experienced SAP Architect/Designer to start a 12 month contract immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to development and documentation of infrastructure architectures
- Produce detailed component specifications for infrastructure architectures, taking a holistic view of the intended uses of the architectures
- Develop product short-lists and evaluation criteria then use them in product selection.
- Provide advice on technical aspects of infrastructure development and integration, including the operational and maintenance aspects of infrastructure proposals under development.
- Ensure that appropriate technical records are established and maintained.
- Monitor technical progress, informing project management of major technical issues and making recommendations on their resolution.
- Lead architecture developments for small to medium projects.
- Maintain an awareness of current developments in the technical specialism.
- Ensure that infrastructure development projects take full account of and where necessary, correctly interface with existing infrastructure.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the organisation's infrastructure development standards, methods and procedures.
