Job Overview:
- Project requires an experienced Rational Analyst who has hands-on experience implementing Build forge with Rational Asset Manager and Rational Team Concert.
- This individual requires knowledge within the suite of IBM Rational tools including Build forge, Rational Asset Manager, with Rational Team Concert.
- This individual must have demonstrated expertise with the IBM Rational tools in a complex and distributed enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as subject matter expert for IBM RTC stack
- Standardize and integrate IBM Rational development support tools with each other and with other development tools in a Java/.NET development environment using Rational Jazz framework
- Configure Rational tools to meet specifications and requirements
- Identifying issues and defining a solution for those issues
- Manage client communication and expectations
Primary Skills:
- 2 - 3 years Rational Team Concert (RTC) implementation experience in medium-to-large organizations
- Must have practical experience leading the Rational stack implementation decisions in a Centralized vs. Decentralized configuration environment
- Developing and documenting Rational stack specific standards
- Strong experience integrating IBM Rational development support tools with each other and with other development tool
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with cross functional teams at a client location
- Experience using Rational Team Concert V3.0 to create and configure projects - including selecting a process template, creating Jazz Source Control stream and component hierarchies, configuring a build environment, creating custom reports and dashboards, customizing work item attributes and workflows, and customizing project and process configurations.
- Familiarity with all facets of Project Area configuration, particularly the Process Configuration tools in Rational Team Concert
- Experience in Rational Team Concert (RTC) tool usage and APIs
- Knowledge in developing extensions in Rational tool.
