Systems Programmer

Description

A world renowned IT multinational firm based in Dublin is currently seeking a Systems Programmer for multiple customer sites based in Dublin city centre. This job requires the individual to perform detailed performance and capacity analysis assessments of current workloads across a number of z/OS based transactional systems (IMS, MQ & DB2) with a view to recommending and implementing configuration improvements to facilitate projected increased workloads to meet customer requirements.

The following technical background is essential for this role:
Minimum 7 years system programming skills in IMS, WebSphere MQ and DB2
Experience and working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Omegamon (IMS MQ and DB2)
IMS and DB2 InfoSphere products
IMS Knowledge-Based Log Analysis tool
MQ Supportpacs
IMS, MQ & DB2 performance & capacity analysis skills

This is a 3-6month contract and the ideal candidate will have their own transport. This is an urgent requirement so an immediately available candidate is highly desirable.
