Key Accountabilities
*Prepares manual test conditions, requirements and data
*Produces automated testing scripts, plans and feasibility documents
*Review requirements and design documentation as required
*Executes test scripts, logging results and defects
*Accepts or reassigns problem records allocated to them
*Researches and analyses problems
*Records findings on problems records
*Assigns problem records for further action
*Liaises with Test Manager and AGD Project Managers
*Maintains effective lines of communication with all project members,
*Mentoring of Test Support Analyst
*Ensures that testing is compliant with regulatory, legislative and AGD standards.
*Helps in training and mentoring of Business test resource
Requirments
*Previous 3 years previous experience in a test role
*A good knowledge of the relevant Insurance Industry sector
*Strong knowledge of RDB testing
*Good knowledge of test tools, Quality Centre suite or equivalent
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Good interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
*Good knowledge of a wide range of common development & Test software
*ISEB Testing Foundation certificate preferred or a willingness to obtain
