SharePoint Developer/Architect - Ryde, $ Per Hour, 3 months

The Company

A major construction company is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer/Architect to work on major migration and customisation project. The business prides itself on technical excellence and providing exceptional customer services.

The Role

  • The business has only recently started to use SharePoint so your primary objective with be identify key challenges and business problems that can be resolved through SharePoint Solutions.
  • You will work closely with internal and external business users to gather requirements and understand business needs. This will allow you to effectively design solutions that will enhance the performance of the business functions.
  • In this varied role you will be developing and implementing SharePoint portals using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio and .NET. This will include web parts, work flows and InfoPath Forms.
  • You will be a technical point of contact and responsible troubleshooting and gathering requirements. In addition to this you will integrate SharePoint Components with Legacy Systems and creating Web Services in SharePoint Solutions.

Required Skills/Experience

Ideally you will have at least 4 years commercial experience within SharePoint Development. Your understanding of the SDLC, taxonomies, navigation principles and corporate portal design will be excellent. You will have some experience in SQL Scripting, database design and development.

Experience in the following technologies is also required:

  • Moss 2007/SharePoint 2010 Migrations
  • SharePoint Designer
  • InfoPath
  • .NET
  • SQL Server
