Web and Publication Manager
Web & Publications Manager - Canary Wharf, London - 12 month contract - £55k-£65k plus excellent benefits and bonus.
My client - a leading financial services company are looking to recruit a Web & Publications Manager (digital strategy, strong leadership, stakeholders management)
The Web & Publications Manager will be working with senior management to assist them in planning their communications. He/she will implement a strategic and expert web publications service across the organisation, and contribute to developing the strategic communications direction.
This includes responsibility for:
.e-communications; including management of the content (not Back End) of the internal Intranet websites, etc.
.Printed publications - production and design (rather than initial content).
.Editorial function - plain language, house style, tailoring to audience.
Skills required:
We will consider communications professionals from varied backgrounds. However we would like candidates to have a strong awareness of and experience in:
.How web based communication tools support the delivery of communications
.Publications management eg understanding of design and print function and processes involved in effective distribution
.The editorial discipline and best practice
.How to deliver a digital strategy.

.Proven track record of leadership and setting the strategic direction of a team
*Demonstrated people management skills including managing employees through change
.Effective negotiation skills and the ability to articulate the Communications strategy in a way which is tailored to meet the needs of stakeholders
.Ability and confidence to build and manage strong working relationships inside the organisation and with key external stakeholders
.Proven experience in developing communications strategy in particular online
.Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
