Description
The Information Security Manager is part of the Service team and supports the delivery of the information security agenda for the client. This combines managing the relevant aspects of security infrastructure and service with service reporting and pro-active response to security incidents. The Information Security Analyst's focus is on monitoring/managing common threats, understanding the clients information security needs and delivering projects to provide appropriate solutions that protect the clients information assets.
The ins and outs:
- Perform validation checks on security risk and compliance review documents.
- Support and administration of security infrastructure.
- Delivery of security awareness presentations.
- Support regular disaster recovery exercises to promote review and development of the disaster recovery plan.
- Escalate significant security issues.
- Communicate impacting issues to the rest of the ISD team.
- Ensure all work performed complies with the clients standards and policies.
- Suggest developments to the IT Service that would lower costs or increase productivity.
- Attend regular conference calls with the clients security teams.

Demonstrable experience of common IT secuirity compliance frameworks (PCI, SOX, ISO27001 Demonstrable knowledge of common information security threats and their mitigation
Previous experience of IT security risk and compliance review
Demonstrable experience of common information security protection software (anti-virus, anti-malware, etc.).
Demonstrable expertise in Excel and similar data manipulation/reporting tools.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise workload effectively.
Knowledge and experience of enterprise IT Services.
