IT Support Analyst 1st shift and weekends - Use Your Basic Widows, UNIX, and Networking Knowledge and Learn More to become an IT Professional! IT Support Analyst needed for the day shift (including weekends) at a major corporation with a 24x7 NOC. The IT Support Analyst will utilize state of the art monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and a well defined process to facilitate the resolution of infrastructure issues including problems based in networks, Windows, and Sun Solaris UNIX. To be successful in this position, you must be able to learn and always adhere to proper procedures and you must also be able to evaluate and determine prudent courses of action based upon information available. In this role, you will monitor, take calls, open trouble tickets, troubleshoot according to procedure, and escalate when required. Must be able to follow multiple concurrent issues through to resolution. In this role, you will leverage your basic knowledge of Windows, UNIX, and networks and learn a wide range of network support, hardware, software, SAN, and Windows and UNIX platform support skills. This is initially a 12 month contract commitment which may be extended beyond. To join this great team, you must pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
