Our West Raleigh client has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity. We're looking for a senior Front End developer experienced in Javascript, who can also contribute in all aspects of application development whether it be Hibernate mapping, middle-tier business services, or client-side GUI development.Required skills include:
* 5+ years Java development.
* Experience with JavaScript.
* Demonstrable knowledge of core Java (Collections, Generics, Multithreading, etc.)
* Experience with JUnit, Selenium, or other unit testing framework.
* 3+ years experience with JDBC/SQL.
* Experience using Jackson and JSON.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Highly-preferred skills include combinations of:
* Experience using JMVC.
* 2+ years experience with Spring.
* Experience using Spring MVC.
* Experience working with Hibernate.
* Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development processes.
* Experience using SVN.
* Experience using Ant/Maven/Ivy.
* Experience using business Rules Engines (Drools, etc.).
* Experience operating in.NIX environments.
* Experience using JMS.
* Experience using Bitronix.
* Experience developing REST or SOAP based web services.
* Experience using UML.
* Experience with developing EJBs.
* Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and experience invoking through JDBC.
* Experience utilizing various presentation solutions (JSP, JSF, Tiles, Velocity, etc.)
