Description
We are currently looking for a Works Controller to join a large Utilities Client based in Warwickshire.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months +
Location: Warwickshire + Travel
Rate: Daily Contract Rate
Role:
* To manage Contractor's access and Health and Safety documentation before entering a site any where in the UK.
* Managing works conflictions accordingly
* To manage Contractor's access and Health and Safety documentation before entering a site any where in the UK.
* Role is area based and involves collating Risk Assessments and Method Statements submitted to our system for review by the responsible people at site and saving in Sharepoint.
* The management of the documents is via a gatekeeper system developed in-house (spreadsheets and email)
* Find the best business solution for the future of Gatekeeper, minimising our risks and maximising Knowledge of our portfolios activities.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
* Full UK Diving Licence
* An understanding of Building Systems & Maintenance
* Sound knowledge of legislation surrounding both hard and soft service delivery
* Contract performance measurement

Qualifications Required:
NEBOSH and/or IOSH Managing Safely are desirable
Member of or qualifications leading to membership of BIFM, RICS o allied body
Project programming Software
Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Building Systems and Minor Civil Works
NEBOSH certificate
Team Player with strong manpower management skills
Computer Literacy
Fill UK Driving Licence
