Summit Technical Consultant is urgently needed for this leading retail bank. To be considered

Desired Skills

• Must have been part of a Summit implementation/product implementation
• Good understanding of Summit FT architecture and its components
• Good expertise in Summit libraries/APIs, eToolkit development on Summit
• Must have a good experience in C/C++.
• Knowledge of other language(s) preferably Java/C# would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of OS fundamentals and working experience of UNIX/Solaris is a must.
• Strong programming and debugging skills and knowledge of Scripting.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of XML and SQL is a must.
• Experience of working in a development team and the desire to produce high quality deliverables to agreed timescales.
• Ability to learn new technology areas and is able to understand and debug existing code.
• Good problem solving skills, communication skills and decision making skills.
• Experience on Summit for at least 3-4 years.
• Technical experience of 6 - 7 years preferred.
• Must have worked in Financial Services Domain

Key Responsibilities and Roles

• Summit Product Implementation, customisation through APIs
• Develop, maintain and support applications/programs.
• Involved in code reviews and debugging.
• Ensure a good level of teamwork, highlighting issues in good time and proactively suggesting solutions to resolve problems.
• Effectively prioritising deliverables and meeting deadlines and taking ownership of development activities.
• Enhance knowledge of current development tools and programming standards.

• 6-7 years in technical and about 3-4 years in product implementation years of experience in design and development in C/C++.
