Web Architect - Contract
Leading digital agency located in Dublin 2 is looking for recruit a Web Architect for a daily rate contract role to design and develop their online solutions including websites, games, mobile apps and interactive installations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop world-class functional specifications
- Model system behaviours using best practice methods for communicating architecture and design.
- Ensure designs and implementations are consistent with the existing architecture.
- Design to performance requirements to ensure that all websites, web applications, services and mobile apps are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic.
Skills required:
- Strong command of Web technologies including CSS, HTML5, XHTML, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
- Extensive MySQL or other RDBMS performance tuning experience
- Creation of Web Services using PHP
- Knowledge of and experience publishing and parsing semantic XHTML
- Client-side JavaScript performance engineering
- Strong ability to integrate Front End designs with Back End systems
- Strong understanding of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Guidelines
- Excellent analytical and programming skills
