Card Scheme Consultant - Financial Services - Northampton - Up to £400 per day
Our client within financial services requires a n interim Consultant to join their team based in Northampton
This role will require you to provide expert and specialist advice and guidance to Global Payment Acceptance on Visa and MasterCard acceptance rules. You will be required to be as a subject matter expert at external industry level meetings with Visa and/or MasterCard
You will also need to be the lead liaison and support with the schemes on operational and compliance issues such as card acceptance, managing these issues and where necessary escalating them to the schemes or internally within the bank to manage the resolution
To be considered it is essential that you have the following key skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of Global Payment Acceptance and the acquiring industry.
- Understanding of Visa and MasterCard and their roles as service providers to members.
- A level or equivalent.
- PC literate, MS Office/Word/Excel.
Preferably you will have knowledge of Visa and MasterCard scheme rules. Experience in a relationship management/customer support role is ideal. Knowledge of issuing business, including debit and a broad understanding of the card payments industry is also advantageous.
