Very Large Financial Services Company in the North Fort Worth area is seeking a Junior-Mid level IT Project Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Will oversee all aspects of projects. Will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Will build and maintain working relationships with team members, and other departments involved in the projects. Will prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Will rely extensively on their own experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of tasks.  Will lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Form project teams, and schedule/conduct project status meetings. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Lead the project team effectively in the areas of communication, team building and reaching consensus. Prepare project status reports and keep team, management, and others informed of project status and related issues.  

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, preferred.  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience with project management methodologies and techniques. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Oral skills sufficient to explain business needs to technical personnel and technical information to users.
