Description
Mainframe PL1 Developer 12 -24 Month fixed contract. My client a leading Irish Financial services organisation is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Mainframe Developer to join them on a 12 month contract.
My client the bank is in the midst of revamping its retail branch banking platform. They require resources to work on the same. You will also have a few other PL/1 based applications which need enhancements. The candidates may be asked to work on them too. Candidates will be involved in the design, development and testing of the enhancements. The requirement gathering is being done by a separate team; however, the developers will have access to the Business teams to clarify/ratify requirements. Please note, this is a senior developer position and will not have any team leading role.
Successful candidates need to be well versed with PL/1, Cobol, and ideally DB2. However the main skills will be PL1. Experience of working on banking/financial verticals, though not mandatory for the right person.
