Description
This role will develop, deploy, implement and administer technical support for a set of configuration management tools for the midrange, Intel and desktop environments.Being part of the team, this a technical role which requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, commitment to customer focus, the ability to work independently and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support to owning and performing requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Team's managed toolset
- Provide expert guidance to Project Managers and toolset implementers/
- Perform research and development of new solutions as required
- Provide capacity planning information
- Report to incidents and requests for information
Required skill set:
- Minimum of 3 years in ITIL
- UNIX and Windows 2003 and 2008
- Automation and Scripting Languages
- Network protocols
- TADDM and ITIC/CCMDB focus
