Title: C# .NET WinForms Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC - (out of town candidates encouraged to apply however will need to relocate to Charlotte at own expense)
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months +
Our client, a leading Charlotte based company, is looking for a C#/.Net/WinForms Developer responsible for the development of the applications in banking/financials. Will be heavily involved in the multiple applications that provide support to a wide range of financial products. Must be a team player capable of working with a diverse group, Front Office, Middle Office, IT support groups and various wholesale ops groups. Will also be called upon to generate ad hoc reports and create & submit scripts for any data changes with quick turnaround times.
Required Skills:
- C# (5+ years working experience).
- .NET Framework 3.5 (VB/C#).
- WinForms.
- XML.
- SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience in the full software development life cycle.
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
Desired Skills:
- Capital Markets.
- SQL Reporting Service 2005 is plus.
- Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous messaging work flows is a strong PLUS.
- Working knowledge with GL accounting methodology or GL systems will be a strong plus.
- Experience working with Bloomberg or market data provider is also plus.
