Global Company with a location in Naperville, a western suburb of Chicago is seeking a Windows Support Engineer to work a 6 month contract (possibly longer). This individual will be supporting 250 Users, 150 local in Naperville and 100 throughout North America, 30 sales people in the field. This position will be located in their distribution center.

  • 3-4 years of Microsoft PC Support experience
    Help Desk experience
    Basic Networking skills
    A/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • MCSA/MCSE/MCITP certified preferred
  • CRM administration experience a plus
  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Windows Administration, with 2+ years in a Windows
  • Environment supporting 60+ users, experience with Group Policies: Software, Security, Login and logout functions, support of remote users via VPN technologies
  • 2+ years experience operating Windows Exchange Infrastructure
  • 2+ years experience Internet Information Server, Web, FTP, SMTP
  • US Based residency with solid communication skills
  • A customer oriented mindset that will "go to bat" for each and every customer
  • A natural love for technology that is reflected in your professional and personal life
  • A natural drive to learn technologies you aren't familiar with
  • A methodical mindset towards troubleshooting issues
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, etc..
  • Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008 Configuration and Troubleshooting (Services, NTFS Permissions, etc..) at the MCSA level
  • Basic programming fundamentals to assist in code troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of how web Servers and email Servers work.
