One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SQL Server DBA for an initial 6 months contract based in Brussels. The rates are currently negotiable.
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of French and Dutch
- SQL Server Clustering
- SQL Server Database Mirroring
- In depth knowledge of SQL Server DBE 2005 and 2008 R2
- SQL Server BI 2008 R2
- Security and risk awareness
- Work experience in a bank or financial institution is a plus
Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products.
- Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.
- Provide support to developers.
- Ensure 2nd line support (handling incidents and problems)
- Ensure 3rd level support (performance tuning and troubleshooting).
- Work in an ITIL environment.
