Description
Atlanta based consulting firm is looking for a strong WPF Architect to help with the development of an insurance application in an Agile environment. The project is based on a .NET architecture with WPF. At this point there is no Back End database, but part of the push between now and April will be to add a Back End SQL Server database. The application itself is an actuarial product that will be sold as a product in the market and will also be used on consulting engagements. Candidates must be familiar with Agile including all the development practices that come with Agile particularly Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration. The Architect should be comfortable with the use of Agile evolutionary/emergent design. You must have experience with .NET, C#, WPF, SQL Server, MVVM, and Agile. This position requires hands-on development 50%-60% of the time. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
