Job Title - Personal Assistant
Duration - Twelve month Contract
Location - Newport, South Wales

A large Security and Defence Company is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide business support to the Chief Architect.

Scope:
The role involves close engagement with senior management & directorial staff at an international & pan divisional level.
Personal Assistant will need to provide secretarial support on a one-to-one basis in a fast paced & dynamic environment and will require demonstrable experience of PowerPoint and Vendor management with a similar environment.

Responsibilities:
Management of Chief Architects e-mail account to bring issues to his attention
Coordinating complex and extensive travel and diary management to ensure Chief Architects time is utilised efficiently
International Coordination & Relationship Development with Executive offices across the Client's. Build and develop relationships with high profile individuals, both face-to-face and through other media channels
Co-ordination of arrangements for a variety of meetings, internally and externally, assembling appropriate material, as required, to ensure the smooth running of these meetings.
Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority.
Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others
Work in collaboration with the Chief Architect to prepare reports and presentations for CE and COEX activities
Support key CE and COEX events including VIP visits by coordination of attendance & planning activities
To provide support to the COEX office on specific COEX issues

Skills & Experience:
The successful applicant requires a high level of experience of working within international teams
Must be experienced working in a varied and demanding environment
Be confident, articulate and extremely proactive
Have excellent written and communication skills with excellent knowledge of MS Office/PowerPoint
Have Vendor Management Experience
Have an adaptable and flexible approach to their work
Role is located in Newport, UK but minimal travel may be required across other Client sites.

Desirable
Fluent communication in English including German or French would be advantageous.
