We are actively searching a SQL Server
DBA to support these projects.
The DBA will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards.
- Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.
- Provide support to developers.
- Ensure 2nd line support (handling incidents and problems)
- Ensure 3rd level support (performance tuning and troubleshooting).
- Be able to work in an ITIL-structured environment.
SKILLS
Business experience Required
- 2+ years of related experience in a financial institute or large organization
Personal skills
- Stress resistant
- Team player
- Problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Technical experience required
- Mandatory: In depth knowledge of SQL Server DBE 2005 and 2008 R2
- Knowledge of SQL Server BI 2008 R2
- Security and risk awareness
Preferable:
- Knowledge and experience with SQL Server Clustering and SQL Server Database Mirroring
