Description
Leading Retail organization in the Johns Creek area is looking to add a Senior Datawarehouse Architect to define and implement an architecture to meet reporting needs for a retail (direct to consumer) distribution center. Solution will include Oracle as the primary data source and Microsoft's SSRS 2012 as the reporting tool. Also, to implement basic and/or temporary components of the architecture to allow the conversion of ~100 reports from Cognos/Crystal.
Responsibilities:
- Define reporting architecture in collaboration with customer's Enterprise Architect to ensure compliance with Enterprise standards.
- Obtain customer approval of reporting architecture, to include both near-term and long-term components.
- Define human resource requirements (ie skills) to implement the architecture, support the architecture, and develop reports.
- Lead customer's resources in defining infrastructure procurement and build requirements.
- Lead customer's resources in implementing the reporting architecture.
- Lead customer's resources in defining and implementing data models, report development conventions/standards, source code control, and presentation layer standards.
Technical Experience required:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
- Knowledge of Microsoft's SSRS/SSIS/SSAS tools.
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2 Experience with Crystal Reports or Cognos Technical Experience not required, but a plus.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems or ERP systems.
