Title: Oracle Programmer
Location: On site in Agoura Hills, CA preferred
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks an Oracle Programmer. The department is responsible for application & database development for iOriginate (loan origination), OrgMart (bank branch management) & BPS (business partners/joint ventures) applications. Contractor is responsible for full SDLC life cycle of all analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, etc, efforts he/she is assigned to.

Skills Overview:
Detailed background in data integration, application connectivity, and data aggregation. Ability to interact between application developers and DBA/Database developers. Database knowledge including complex DB queries. Strong background and experience on import and export batch data-feeds (Microsoft SSIS and SSRS), Oracle query performance tuning and PL/SQL programming. Advanced knowledge of data modelling for OLTP systems. Basic or intermediate background and experience with OLAP modelling (Datawarehouse, data marts and data mining). Above average written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience working with banking/mortgage applications is a plus.

Required Skills:
Required skills include 3-5 years Microsoft SSIS and SSRS programming/data integration; Seeking an Oracle Version above 9i. Complex Oracle SQL queries and data analysis; Oracle PL/SQL programming and advanced knowledge of data modelling for OLTP systems. Must have above average written & verbal communication & presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:
Preferred skills include 1-2 years Microsoft SSAS: Basic or intermediate background and experience with OLAP modelling (Datawarehouse,data marts &data mining); 2-3 years Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL programming; 2-3 years experience working with banking and/or mortgage applications & MS Office tools (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
