Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Senior eCommerce Architect - Mobile. With a primary focus in the mobile space participates in the development and maintenance of a business and system architecture and conducts business information flow studies. Provides integrated systems planning and recommends new or different mobile technologies that will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals. Conducts system architecture studies of new and existing IT systems to permit development of integrated systems that operate at low cost levels. Recommends the appropriate computer and mobile platforms, work stations and communication linkage required to support distributed and Client Server business processes and information flows. Interfaces with business areas to ensure all initiatives support business strategies and goals. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 7-10 years of systems experience with at least 3 years working in the mobile space.
Specific Description:
ECCS Online and Mobile is responsible for driving a portfolio of projects that augment our revenue streams, modernize our Online and Mobile platforms, and address changes in the regulatory environment. Candidate will drive solution and technical architecture on initiatives in alignment with technical strategy, provide technical leadership to development teams, and help coordinate technical delivery of enhanced capabilities, mainly in the mobile arena.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years in the mobile space preferable including mobile application development and/or mobile banking
- 5+ years of Java/J2EE/C # development
- 3-5 years of solutions architecture experience
- Service Oriented Architecture and integration
- RSA/UML documentation
- Modern eCommerce UI technologies
- Facilitation and technical leadership skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Mobile development in iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile OS, RIM or any Mobile Banking application
- Recent experience leading development and implementation of high-volume B2C eCommerce systems
- Retail Banking experience is a plus experience at BAC is a definite plus
