Title: Senior Java Web GUI Developer
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 6-12 months
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a consultant for Front End Development. They need a Senior Java web GUI application developer to work on a project to extend an existing credit risk application platform to support another line of business. The position will focus on Front End application development and requires strong GUI design and development experience. The length of engagement would be 6-12 months.
Skills/Experience required:
- Senior developer with 5+ years of experience in full end-to-end web application development.
- Strong GUI development experience in Java/JSP. In-depth project experience with JavaScript (preferably with a framework like Ext JS), DHTML and Struts.
- Detailed knowledge & experience of relational databases (Sybase).
- Development experience iBatis or Hibernate frameworks.
- Experience with capital markets, credit risk or underwriting systems a plus.
