PAY: $40/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Need to be able to leverage their VBA 2003 enironment to build reports against Access and Oracle DBs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develope and maintain several Access databases using an ODBC link to the main CMS Oracle database using ADO, DAO in VBA for Applications.
- Analyze and identify data and metadata for data mining in Oracle database using Toad.
- Document database designs, relationships and objects.
- Train staff members on functional use of customize MS Access Application.
- Develop Ad-hoc, Matrix reports.
- Create ETL scripts in Oracle PL/SQL for various report outputs (CSV, Excel, MS Access).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Reporting experience (Ad-hoc, Matrix reports)
- Visual Basic, VBA development experience (preferably with Access 2003).
- PL/SQL experience.
- ODBC, ADO, DAO experience.
- Oracle PL/SQL experience.
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills.
PLUS SKILLS:
- Toad for Oracle experience.
- DB modelling experience/knowledge.
