Duration: 12 months
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks an IT Program Manager. Responsible for program/project process management performing complex analysis aimed at implementing system processes. Drive the development of standards for scheduling and coding, including testing, validation, promotion verification and monitoring. While this position has no direct people management responsibilities, it does require the ability to interact with business partners both within and external to the team. Develop strategy and execution plans, working closely with technical leadership and multiple teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand complex applications, processes and systems and explain them at multiple levels.
- Ability to clearly articulate high level strategy to project details and communicate effectively, including formal presentations, with all levels of the organization. Develop partnering relationships with others.
- Motivate individuals and teams toward project objectives. - empowering them to succeed without losing overall direction.
- Requires good organizational skills, Ability to stay in control and maintain even handed approach with people while working with continually changing multi tasks in a deadline work environment.
- Work closely with the development teams, management Team, Infrastructure management, and our partners across other technology, business and shares services/Infrastructure groups within the firm.
- Indepth knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and command, ETL development tools or support, SQL, Autosys or other scheduling tools.
